Fees for services will be communicated in writing prior to scheduling. Payment in full is required at the time of service unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Gifted Testing Colorado reserves the right to adjust fees with advance written notice.

Gifted Testing Colorado provides independent cognitive assessments designed to support gifted program placement decisions for children. Services include administration of standardized assessments such as the WPPSI-IV or WISC-V, scoring, interpretation, and preparation of a written report.

These services are educational in nature and are intended solely to assist families and school districts in understanding a child's cognitive abilities for the purpose of academic placement. They do not constitute clinical diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic services.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice by phone or email. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service fee. Repeat cancellations without adequate notice may result in suspension of scheduling privileges.

Fees are refundable in full if cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice. Once an assessment has been administered, fees are non-refundable.

Reports are typically delivered within three (3) weeks following the assessment date. A written report summarizing assessment results, observations, and relevant recommendations will be provided to the parent or guardian following the evaluation. The report is intended for educational planning purposes. Gifted Testing Colorado retains the right to maintain a copy of all assessment records in accordance with applicable professional standards. The family may share the report with their child's school or other professionals at their discretion. Gifted Testing Colorado is not responsible for how the report is used or interpreted by third parties, including school districts.

Gifted Testing Colorado and Kaitlin Smith, EdS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of assessment services or reliance on assessment results. Liability, if any, shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific services rendered.

Assessment results and written reports are provided to support, but do not guarantee, gifted program placement. Final eligibility and placement decisions are made solely by the child's school district in accordance with district and state policies. Gifted Testing Colorado makes no representations or guarantees regarding placement outcomes.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the State of Colorado, with venue in the county in which Gifted Testing Colorado's principal place of business is located.

Gifted Testing Colorado reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website and will be effective upon posting. Changes will not affect services already scheduled or in progress.

The testing services provided by Gifted Testing Colorado are independent educational evaluations conducted by a Colorado-licensed School Psychologist. These services are intended solely for educational planning, insight into a student’s learning strengths and needs, and for potential gifted identification. Completion of an evaluation does not guarantee that a student will meet the criteria for gifted identification, as results are based on standardized testing and norm-referenced performance. This evaluation is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, nor is it intended to assess or treat mental health conditions. Under current Colorado law, licensed School Psychologists are authorized to provide educational assessments and consultative services, but are not permitted to diagnose or provide therapeutic treatment. Parents are encouraged to share evaluation results with their child’s school or educational team as part of a broader decision-making process.
