Gifted Testing Privacy Policy

We may collect the following types of information: parent or guardian name, address, phone number, and email address; your child's name, date of birth, grade level, and school; assessment results and written reports; payment information (processed securely — we do not store full payment details); and information submitted through our website contact form.

We use the information we collect to schedule and provide assessment services; prepare and deliver written assessment reports; communicate with families about services, appointments, and results; maintain professional records as required by applicable standards; and comply with legal and professional obligations.

Gifted Testing Colorado does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Information may be shared only with your written consent (for example, when sharing a report with your child's school); as required by law, court order, or applicable professional regulations; or to protect the health or safety of the child or others, in accordance with applicable ethical standards.

Because our services involve assessments of minor children, we take particular care in handling information related to children. We collect only the information necessary to provide assessment services and do not use children's information for any marketing purpose. Parents and guardians have the right to review, request correction of, or request deletion of their child's information.

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Assessment records are stored securely. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Assessment records are retained for a period consistent with applicable professional and legal standards. After that period, records will be securely destroyed.

Under the Colorado Consumer Privacy Act (CPA, HB 21-190), Colorado residents have rights regarding their personal data. You have the right to: (1) access personal information we hold about you or your child; (2) request correction of inaccurate information; (3) request deletion of your information, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements; and (4) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising purposes. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising or commercial purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at GiftedTestingCO@gmail.com or 970-231-0734. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with a new effective date.

The testing services provided by Gifted Testing Colorado are independent educational evaluations conducted by a Colorado-licensed School Psychologist. These services are intended solely for educational planning, insight into a student’s learning strengths and needs, and for potential gifted identification. Completion of an evaluation does not guarantee that a student will meet the criteria for gifted identification, as results are based on standardized testing and norm-referenced performance. This evaluation is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, nor is it intended to assess or treat mental health conditions. Under current Colorado law, licensed School Psychologists are authorized to provide educational assessments and consultative services, but are not permitted to diagnose or provide therapeutic treatment. Parents are encouraged to share evaluation results with their child’s school or educational team as part of a broader decision-making process.
